This policy explains how blueportcontainer.com uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR) and, where cookies involve personal data, by the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. What cookies are

2. The categories we use

These remember choices you make — for example a preferred region or previously entered form details — to improve your experience. Switching them off may make parts of the site less convenient.

These help us understand how visitors use the site: which pages are read, where people arrive from, and where they give up. The data is aggregated and used to improve the site. These cookies are only set with your consent.

4. How we obtain consent
When you first visit the site you are shown a cookie banner. Non-essential cookies are not set until you accept them. You can accept all, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing the consent cookie or using the cookie settings control where available. Refusing non-essential cookies will not stop you browsing the site, requesting a quotation or placing an order.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
All major browsers let you view, block and delete cookies, usually through Settings, then Privacy or Security. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the basket and checkout. Useful guidance is published by the ICO at ico.org.uk and by your browser vendor.
Note that “Do Not Track” browser signals are not consistently honoured across the web, and we do not currently respond to them. Global Privacy Control signals, where present, are treated as an objection to non-essential cookies.
6. Cookies and personal data
Some cookies process data that can identify you, such as an online identifier or IP address. Where that happens, the processing is described in our Privacy Policy, including the lawful basis, retention periods and your rights, and your right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
7. Changes to this policy
We review this policy whenever we add or remove a tool that sets cookies, and at least annually. The version published here is the current one.
