ISO Shipping Containers for Sale

Everything here began life as freight equipment built to ISO intermodal dimensions, which separates the category from our conversions and purpose-built stores: Corten walls, a plywood deck over steel cross-members, corner castings that take a twistlock, cargo doors at one end. The specification exists so a box can be stacked on a ship, and it is why an ISO shipping container makes a hard, dry, relocatable store once ashore. Builders, farmers, hauliers and self-storage firms buy here for secure volume that can be moved again later.

Three decisions cover most orders

Length. A 10ft box (roughly 3 m) drops into a single parking bay, the 20ft (6.06 m) is the yard workhorse, and 30ft and 40ft (12.19 m) units take long stock and bulk. Height. A standard box stands 2.59 m (8ft 6in) and a high cube 2.89 m (9ft 6in), often the difference between two levels of racking and three. Doors. Most units open at one end; a tunnel is doored front and back, so a forklift drives straight through.

Grades, and the cover each carries

One-trip units have made one laden voyage from the factory and carry 12 months against structural defects and water ingress. Cargo-worthy boxes show their history but stay fit for ocean carriage; wind and watertight units are dry inside with doors that work. Both carry 3 months, and our condition guide defines each term.

Most boxes come in on a tilt-bed and slide off under gravity, so firm level ground and a clear run behind the lorry matter; a crane or HIAB lift instead is agreed in writing before delivery. Delivery is free UK-wide, including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey. Treat 7–10 days as an estimate, not a promise: mainland England and Wales typically 3–7 working days, the islands 2–4 weeks. The price shown is the total payable, no VAT added at checkout.
