Modified Containers

Every unit in our modified shipping containers range started as a standard steel box and left the workshop with cut openings, added structure or a finished interior. Container conversion work is what turns a freight box into something usable on day one: a lockable roller-shutter store, a heated office, a mobile workshop, a training rig or a serving unit. BluePort Container lists both completed conversions ready to ship and base units suited to a custom build.
Types of conversion work represented here

Door changes — roller shutters, personnel doors, side access openings and tunnel double-end-door layouts
Interior fit-out — insulation, lining, flooring, lighting, power distribution and climate control
Structural modification — cut-downs, mezzanines, multi-bay partitions, raised and bunded floors
Application builds — site offices, workshops, kitchens, bars, kiosks and confined-space training units
Finishing — respray to a specified RAL color, cladding, glazing and signage panels

Access conversions are the most common starting point. A 20ft roller shutter conversion container replaces swing cargo doors with a shutter that opens in a tight bay, while a 40ft tunnel container fitted out as a mobile workshop shows how far a fit-out can go.
