What Non-CSC Means for This Unit
This container is purpose-built for occupation, not for freight. It carries no CSC plate, so it is not intended to be loaded and shipped as cargo — the specification is spent instead on insulation, ventilation, handling and finish. That is a deliberate trade-off: at 1,250 kg tare it is light enough to move easily, it stacks for transport and storage, and the insulated envelope does the job a CSC-plated dry van never has to do, which is hold a stable internal temperature with people inside it.
Specifying the Interior
- Flooring. Choose wooden flooring for a warmer, quieter interior, or steel where the unit will see boots, kit and heavy traffic.
- Windows. PVC-shuttered windows bring in daylight and can be closed down for security or privacy when the unit is unoccupied.
- Climate control. Air conditioning and heating can be specified together for year-round occupation in either direction of the temperature range.
- Color. Any RAL color, which matters where a client, port or site has a livery requirement.
