Website Use and Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out the terms on which you may use blueportcontainer.com. By accessing or using the site you agree to it. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. It should be read with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

  2. We do not guarantee that the site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted.
  3. You are responsible for arranging your own access to the internet, and for ensuring that everyone who accesses the site through your connection is aware of and complies with this policy.
  4. The site is directed at users in the United Kingdom. We make no representation that content or products are appropriate or available in other locations.

3. Accounts and passwords

If you create an account, you must keep your login details confidential and must not disclose them to anyone else. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may disable any account at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached this policy. Tell us immediately at info@blueportcontainer.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. Intellectual property

  1. We own or licence all intellectual property rights in the site and in the material published on it, including text, layout, graphics, photographs and guides. These works are protected by copyright and other laws.

Breaching this section may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Where appropriate we will report a breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and cooperate with them, including by disclosing your identity.

Any content you submit through forms, reviews or correspondence must comply with section 5, must be accurate where it states facts, and must be genuinely held where it states opinions. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store and copy that content for the purpose of operating our business and, where you have given a review or testimonial, to publish it. We may remove any submitted content at our discretion. Personal data in submissions is handled under our Privacy Policy.

7. Accuracy of information

Content on this site, including our Buyer’s Guide, Condition Guide, Delivery Information and FAQ, is provided for general information only. It is not advice on which you should rely for any specific purpose — in particular, our planning permission notes are general guidance and are not planning or legal advice. Always confirm requirements with your local planning authority and take professional advice where the stakes justify it.

Dimensions, weights, specifications, photographs and stock availability are indicative. Containers are individual second-hand units and vary. Product images are representative of the grade unless we state that they show the specific unit offered.

8. Limitation of liability

  1. Nothing excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumers’ rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  2. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and representations relating to the site and its content.
  3. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the site; from reliance on content on it; or from any virus or harmful material that may infect your equipment through use of the site.
  4. For business users, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
