Website Use and Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out the terms on which you may use blueportcontainer.com. By accessing or using the site you agree to it. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. It should be read with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights; where anything here conflicts with them, your statutory rights prevail.

2. Accessing the site

  1. Access is provided free of charge and on a temporary basis. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the site without notice.
  2. We do not guarantee that the site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted.
  3. You are responsible for arranging your own access to the internet, and for ensuring that everyone who accesses the site through your connection is aware of and complies with this policy.
  4. The site is directed at users in the United Kingdom. We make no representation that content or products are appropriate or available in other locations, and we deliver only within the territories set out in our Delivery and Shipping Policy.

3. Accounts and passwords

If you create an account, you must keep your login details confidential and must not disclose them to anyone else. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may disable any account at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached this policy. Tell us immediately at info@blueportcontainer.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. Intellectual property

  1. We own or licence all intellectual property rights in the site and in the material published on it, including text, layout, graphics, photographs and guides. These works are protected by copyright and other laws.

Any content you submit through forms, reviews or correspondence must comply with section 5, must be accurate where it states facts, and must be genuinely held where it states opinions. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store and copy that content for the purpose of operating our business and, where you have given a review or testimonial, to publish it. We may remove any submitted content at our discretion. We do not publish reviews we have not received, and we do not edit a review so as to change its meaning. Personal data in submissions is handled under our Privacy Policy.

Content on this site, including our Buyer’s Guide, Condition Guide, Delivery Information and FAQ, is provided for general information only. It is not advice on which you should rely for any specific purpose — in particular, our planning permission notes are general guidance and are not planning or legal advice. Always confirm requirements with your local planning authority and take professional advice where the stakes justify it.

Dimensions, weights, specifications, photographs and stock availability are indicative. Containers are individual second-hand units and vary. Product images are representative of the grade unless we state that they show the specific unit offered. Where a description of goods you have bought turns out to be wrong, your rights under our Terms and Conditions and under consumer law are unaffected by this section.

8. Limitation of liability

  1. Nothing excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumers’ rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  2. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and representations relating to the site and its content. This section concerns your use of the website only. It does not limit our obligations in relation to goods we sell you, which are governed by our Terms and Conditions and by consumer law.
  3. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the site; from reliance on content on it; or from any virus or harmful material that may infect your equipment through use of the site.
  4. For business users, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
