Double Mains Toilet Waste Tank

Description

A steel waste tank designed to stand under a double mains toilet and hold the effluent on sites with no foul sewer to connect to — which is the normal position on greenfield ground, on remote compounds, and during enabling works carried out before the drainage is in. Nothing about it is adapted from something else: an internal steel framework with supports, clad in 2 mm steel plate and primed black.

Work the capacity against your headcount before it goes live

The 500 gallon capacity is what sets how often a tanker has to visit, and that is a number worth doing before the unit is in use rather than after. On a busy compound a double toilet will fill a tank of this size faster than most people expect, and the difference between a scheduled routine visit and an emergency call-out is entirely down to whether anyone did the arithmetic. Work it out from your crew size and book emptying as a standing arrangement.

Siting

The tank wants level, compacted ground, positioned so a tanker can reach it without driving through the working area, and with nothing stacked against either emptying point — two corner points exist precisely so the tanker can come at it from whichever side suits, and that is worth nothing if one of them is behind a pallet of blocks. Check which toilet unit the tank is being paired with before ordering, because a double unit and a single unit do not take the same tank.

Delivery is free anywhere we deliver in the UK, including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, and the price shown is the total payable with no VAT added at checkout. At 2.515 × 2.43 m and only 0.61 m high this is a flat, compact steel item — it does not need the clearance a cabin does, but it is a single rigid steel unit and still needs mechanical offload, so a HIAB or crane arrangement is agreed in writing before the delivery date. It is normally ordered at the same time as the toilet unit it sits under, and it is worth having both on the same delivery so they are positioned together. The tank is covered for 12 months on workmanship in line with our warranty policy, and your statutory rights are separate: 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and 30 days to reject the goods if they are faulty.
