Built for Vertical Entry Training
The defining feature of this unit is the roof deck. Twist-locked to the container’s own corner castings and fully removable, it turns the roof into a working platform from which crews descend through dual hatches into the space below — which is exactly how entry into tanks, manholes, silos and pits happens in the field. Davit arm mounts are built into the deck itself, so tripod and winch work is rehearsed on a rated, purpose-built anchorage rather than an improvised one, and casualty recovery drills can be run vertically instead of only along the floor.
Instructor Control Over the Scenario
- Configurable lighting. The same physical space can be run bright for a first-time walkthrough, then dropped to low-light or blackout to test the crew under realistic conditions.
- Modular access. Ladder, handrails and safety platform are removable, so the difficulty of entry and egress can be changed between exercises without rebuilding anything.
- Two ISEO crash bar exits. A candidate in difficulty can be out of the unit immediately, which is what allows genuinely demanding scenarios to be run safely.
- Removable grating sections. Roof maintenance access, and a further variable in how the deck is presented to a team.
Specify Your Layout
Interiors are custom-built, so the internal restrictions, direction changes and level changes are designed around the hazards your crews actually face. Compare this against the mobile confined space training container if the priority is taking training to multiple sites, and consider pairing the unit with a container site office as a classroom and kit store where courses run from one base.
