4m x 4.2m Side-Linked Flat Pack Store

Two 4 m powder-coated stores joined side by side with a linking kit, opening into a single room of roughly 3.73 m x 4.07 m internally. Side linking gives you a wide, walk-around space rather than a corridor — the right shape when you need to reach things at the back without unloading everything in front of them.

Every panel is bolted together on site, so the finished structure can stand where no crane will reach: a remote corner of a sports field, a railway siding, a courtyard behind a hall. That is the whole argument for flat pack over a shipping container. With 4 m panels, plan on four to six able people to carry components from the drop-off point to the build position.

It expands. Each additional store adds another set of doors, and units can be arranged with doors at the same end or at opposite ends — you decide at erection, not at order. Note that flat pack stores link in one direction only, so a single structure is either side-by-side or end-on-end, never a mix of both.

Choosing Between Side Linked and End Linked Bundles

Side linking gives you a wide, square-ish room that is easy to walk around, which is why golf clubs, parish councils and sports teams tend to pick it for chairs, mowers and kit bags. If your space is long and narrow instead, the 8m x 2.1m end linked bundle runs the units nose to tail for long lengths of material. A smaller side-linked footprint is available as the 3m x 4.2m powder coated bundle. Browse every bolt-together option under flat pack containers, or read our container buyers guide if you are still weighing a flat pack store against a conventional steel container.
