Container Solar Floodlight

An LED floodlight running on solar: it takes charge across the day and a motion sensor brings it on after dark. Brightness is not really the point — independence is. No supply cable means nothing for an intruder to cut, and no trenching or electrician is involved in getting light onto a compound that has no power to it. The supplied post clamps into a top corner casting, which puts the lamp at roof height and out of reach from the ground.

Fitting and everyday use

Clamp the post into a corner casting, bolt on the lamp, angle it where you want the light and lock it off. There is no wiring stage at all. The part that gets noticed day to day is the PIR. Approach a container at night with both hands full, have the light come on unprompted, and the padlock is found rather than fumbled for.

Delivery is free everywhere we ship in the UK, which includes Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, and the price you see is the price you pay with no VAT added at checkout. Change your mind within 14 days and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 cover you; separately, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you 30 days to reject the goods if they arrive faulty.

Lighting inside as well as out

For the container interior, the battery-powered magnetic light with PIR sensor works on the same motion-activated principle with no wiring either.
