Double Turnstile Unit

A self-contained steel turnstile module handling entry and exit in one unit, with separate one-way-in and one-way-out lanes. On a large site the single-lane alternative creates a bottleneck twice a day; two lanes running in opposite directions clear a shift change without the queue backing onto the road.

The unit arrives as a complete steel module, so it can be set at the site boundary and tied into hoarding and fencing without groundworks — the perimeter stays continuous and the access point becomes part of it rather than a gap in it. All-steel construction means it survives the knocks a busy gate takes.

It is designed to be driven by whatever access control you already run. The turnstiles can generally be connected to standard card systems or biometric entry software, giving you an auditable record of who is on site and when — important where certification or induction has to be verified at the gate. Access hardware and software are not included and are integrated at your cost.

Specifying Your Turnstile Installation

The unit arrives as a self-contained steel module, so it can be set at the site boundary and tied into hoarding without groundworks. Lower-footfall sites with a single access point usually specify the single turnstile unit instead; the double version earns its place where shift changes create a queue in both directions at once.

Turnstiles are commonly ordered alongside gatehouse and management accommodation – a 16ft x 10ft site office jackleg cabin for the security team, for example. See the wider site cabin range or the modified container range, then request a quote to confirm lead time and delivery for your location.
