The 190mm x 190mm white motion sensor activated magnet ceiling light emits 300 lumens from ultrabright LED lights. The wireless design and long battery life makes it an excellent and cost effective method to light up your container.
The magnet attaches itself to the walls or ceiling or screw fixing options are available if the container is lined out.
The motion sensor will only be activated when darkness is detected saving valuable battery life. Movement can be detected 6m away and the light will stay illuminated for 20 seconds after the last motion was detected.
The battery life is estimated at 6-12 months when operated 8-10 times per day.
Requires 4 x ‘D’ batteries. These are supplied with the unit.

Lighting a Container Interior
Steel containers have no windows, so anything stored past the first few feet is effectively in the dark. Being wireless, this unit needs no trunking, no consumer unit and no electrician – it goes up in seconds and comes down just as fast if the container is moved or sold on. The magnet holds directly to corrugated steel; where a container has been lined out in ply or melamine, use the screw fixing option instead. As a guide, allow one light per 10ft of container length and site them over the walkway rather than over the racking, so the beam is not blocked by stock.
For lighting the approach and the doors outside, the solar-powered container floodlight does the same job on sites with no mains supply. Inside, heavy duty container racking and a container door stay round out a basic storage fit-out, and dry sticks help control damp once the container is loaded.
