Check it against the cabin before you order

This is the item most often bought without measuring, and 2400 × 1200 mm is a lot of table. Allow roughly 900 mm of clear space on each long side so chairs can pull back and people can get past — which means you want about 3 m of clear width to use it properly across a room. In a 10 ft wide jackleg cabin, whose internal width is nearer 2.85 m, it works set lengthways down the unit rather than across it. Worth drawing on the plan before it arrives.

A 2400 mm table is a bulky item — plan how it gets into the cabin, since a standard 0.8 m cabin door and a set of steps are the constraint, not the delivery lorry. You have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and a separate 30-day right to reject the goods if they are faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
