Description
The longest jackleg office we supply as a single unit. Extra floor area is only part of what changes at this length: the cabin carries uPVC double glazing as standard in place of aluminium frames, and that shows up as warmth kept in through a winter and as noise kept out where the cabin stands close to working plant. Forty-eight feet is normally bought as the principal contractor’s office, or to hold office and meeting space within one shell rather than coupling two cabins together.

One cabin instead of two
The reason to buy 48 ft rather than two shorter cabins is that a single unit gives you one delivery, one lift, one levelling exercise and one electrical connection, with no linking detail to weather-seal and no step between two floors. Where a compound needs office and meeting space together, this does it in one footprint. Where the two functions genuinely need separating for noise, two units linked side by side is the better answer — the point is to decide which before you order.
Where it fits
Principal contractor offices on major projects, combined office and meeting accommodation, engineering and design space on infrastructure schemes, training and induction rooms, and permanent yard or depot offices where the low-maintenance plastisol skin pays back over years rather than months.
Delivery, siting and cover
Delivery is free throughout the UK, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey included, and the price shown is the total payable with no VAT added at checkout. This is the longest cabin we supply on jacklegs, and length is what determines whether it can be delivered: a 14.63 m unit needs a genuine swept path into the compound and a clear standing area for the lifting vehicle alongside the final position, not just a wide gate. Send us the access details before ordering rather than on the day. Offload is by HIAB or crane, agreed in writing before delivery, and the jacklegs then level the cabin on firm standing without any slab or groundworks. It is covered for 12 months against structural defects and water ingress, and separately you have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and a 30-day right to reject the goods if they are faulty.
Related units
Where 48 ft is more space than the job warrants, the 40ft x 10ft jackleg office cabin handles nearly the same brief, and if meetings are the main event the 32ft ECOlink meeting room cabin deserves a look. Furniture comes out of our cabin accessories range, usually beginning with the 1500mm pedestal desk. The complete line-up is in site cabins.
