Description
A self-contained battery smoke alarm suited to site cabins, welfare units and container offices. Running on its own cell means no electrical installation is involved — it goes up in any unit on the compound, including cabins that are moved between sites or that only draw temporary power, and it comes down and moves with them.

How many to order
Most operators fit one alarm per cabin as a minimum, with a second in any unit that has a kettle, microwave or heater in it — the canteen and the drying room are where cabin fires actually start. Test the battery at handover and again on the regular site walk, and keep a spare unit on the shelf so a failed alarm is swapped the same day rather than left out of service until the next order goes in.
Delivery
Delivery is free across the UK, including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, and the price shown is the total payable with no VAT added at checkout. It ships as a small parcel with no offload arrangement needed, so ordering several at once for a whole compound costs no more to deliver than ordering one. You have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and separately a 30-day right to reject the goods if they are faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
