A galvanised and powder-coated linking kit that joins two flat pack cabins side by side to create a single wider space. Kits are made for 2.3 m, 3.3 m, 4.3 m and 6.5 m cabins, and the kit must match the length of the cabins you are joining. Remember to add the second cabin to your order if you do not already have one on site — the kit is the connection, not the accommodation.
What it does
- Links two flat pack cabins of the same length side by side
- Available for 2.3 m, 3.3 m, 4.3 m and 6.5 m cabins
- Galvanised and powder coated for a long outdoor service life
- Creates open-plan floor area without a wider single unit
- No crane required — important where overhead access is restricted
- Quick to install, and undone again when the cabins are separated
Side-by-side and end-on-end are different kits
This is the side-by-side kit, which produces a wider space. An end-on-end kit joins the same cabins nose to tail to produce a longer, narrower one. They are not interchangeable, so decide the direction before ordering. One further constraint worth knowing at planning stage: flat pack cabins can only be linked in one direction at a time, so you cannot build a two-by-two block by combining both kits.
Before you order
Both cabins being joined have to be the same length, so confirm the size of the unit already on site rather than assuming. Make sure the ground is level across the full footprint of the combined units, not just under each one separately — if the two floors sit at different heights the doorways will not line up and the join will not seal properly.
Typical uses
- Two single flat pack offices combined into one open-plan site office
- A wider canteen or welfare area, created without a crane on site
- Growing an existing cabin set-up as project headcount rises
- Temporary compounds where the cabins have to be separated and relocated later
Delivery
Delivery is free anywhere we deliver in the UK, including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, and the price shown is the total payable — no VAT is added at checkout. As a palletised kit rather than a cabin, it needs no lifting plant at the delivery end and can travel with the cabins it is joining, which is worth arranging so everything lands on the same day. You keep 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and separately a 30-day right to reject the goods if they are faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
