Swapping the end doors rather than cutting the side wall is a meaningfully different conversion: the opening sits where the container was already designed to have one, so the side panels stay intact and the shell keeps its stiffness. What you gain is a door that lifts vertically and needs no swing clearance; what you keep is a container that still sits, stacks and lifts like any other 20ft box.

Both conversions get you away from swinging doors, but they solve different problems. An end shutter keeps the full 2.35 m internal width usable right to the back wall and leaves both long sides solid, which is what you want if the unit will be racked out, sited between other containers, or ever lifted and moved again. A side shutter opens up the long wall for serving or bench work but permanently reduces how the shell carries load. For pure storage and daily tool access, the end shutter on this unit is the more conservative and usually the better choice.

Condition, delivery and cover
This is a used shell. Expect surface marking, previous repair and mixed paint history beneath the yellow: normal for the grade, and the reason it prices where it does.
Delivery is free across the UK including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, and the price shown is the total payable — no VAT is added at checkout. Units are dispatched from depots around the country to suit your postcode, and mainland England and Wales deliveries typically fall in the 3 to 7 working day band. The lorry needs firm, level ground and a straight approach to slide the container off; if the pitch can only be reached by crane, that must be agreed in writing before delivery. As a wind and watertight used unit it is covered for three months from delivery against water ingress and door operation, with 12 months on the workmanship of the shutter installation. Your 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and your 30-day right to reject faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply separately from both.
