A linking kit joins two 3m stores end to end, and the result is 5.7 m (18 ft 8 in) of unbroken internal length. The point of it is the awkward long item — canoes, masts, goal posts, timber and conduit — that has to be kept out of the weather and out of reach without a whole shipping container being bought for the purpose. Specify galvanised for a working yard, powder coated where the structure is going to be looked at.
Dimensions and weights
- External 6.00 × 2.14 × 2.09 m (19 ft 8 in × 7 ft 0 in × 6 ft 10 in)
- Internal 5.70 × 1.99 × 1.95 m (18 ft 8 in × 6 ft 6 in × 6 ft 5 in)
- Door opening 1.25 × 1.88 m (4 ft 1 in × 6 ft 2 in)
- Weight flat-packed 704 kg (1,552 lb); heaviest single part 120 kg (265 lb)
The one limitation to know about
Here is the catch: 5.7 m of internal length will not accept material cut to 6 m. Written down that reads as obvious, and it still catches out people who take the 6 m in the product name as the usable run rather than the external measurement. If 6 m timber, pipe or scaffold tube is what you are storing, go to the 8m x 2.1m end linked bundle, which gives 7.56 m inside, rather than assuming it will squeeze in at an angle.
What is in the bundle
- 2 × 3m flat pack stores plus 1 end-linking kit
- Galvanised or powder coated finish — select before ordering
- Continuous internal length of 5.7 m (18 ft 8 in)
- Components movable by two to three people
- Doors at both ends available for through-loading
- Key-operated door gear
- Bolts together on site; dismantles and relocates at any time
- Combinable with 2m, 3m and 4m stores to make other lengths
- Links in one direction only — end on end or side by side, not both
- Twelve months’ cover on the units as supplied new
Why the 3m panels matter here
This is the practical difference from the larger bundles. The building blocks are 3m stores whose heaviest single part is 120 kg, so the components go into place on two or three pairs of hands — which puts a small club, a parish council or a self-builder in a position to site the thing without hiring help. It bolts together on site like everything else in the range, and that is what lets it reach ground no delivery lorry will ever get to: down the side of a garage, round the back of a clubhouse, into a gap between two buildings.
Delivery, cover and cancellation
Free delivery anywhere in the UK, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey included, with no VAT added at checkout — the price shown is the total payable. The bundle arrives flat, so no crane or HIAB is needed to unload it and none is needed to build it; where you want the load set down is agreed in writing before delivery. Scottish Highlands and remote mainland addresses typically run 7 to 14 working days. Twelve months’ cover applies on the units as supplied new, alongside a 14-day right to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and a separate 30-day right to reject faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Width rather than length? The 4m x 4.2m side linked bundle gives up the run in exchange for a room you can walk around. Individual stores that extend an existing line — the 3m x 2.1m flat pack store among them — sit with the rest of the flat pack container range. Access and delivery detail is set out in our delivery information before you commit.
