Description

Two 4m stores, bolted together along their long side with a link kit, open into one room of roughly 3.73 × 4.07 m inside. Joining them this way produces a broad space you can walk right round, not a corridor — so whatever ends up at the back stays reachable without shifting everything in front of it first. Finish is decided at order: bare galvanised, or powder coated where the structure will be on show.

Be realistic about the people, not the tools

Nothing here needs lifting gear. Every panel bolts up by hand where it stands, which means the finished store can go somewhere a crane simply cannot reach: a courtyard behind a village hall, a siding beside a railway line, the far corner of a playing field. That is the case for bolt-together construction in a sentence, and it is why one beats a steel box on an awkward site. The genuine limit at this size is people rather than plant. With 4m panels and a heaviest component of 153 kg, budget for four to six capable adults to walk the parts from the drop-off point to the build position. Short of that, the 3m-based bundles go together far more easily.

Side linked or end linked?

A side-linked pair gives a wide, near-square room that is easy to move about in, which is why golf clubs, parish councils and sports teams pick it for stacking chairs, mowers and kit bags. Long, thin plots want the opposite arrangement, and that is the end linked 8m x 2.1m bundle, which sets the units nose to tail for materials that come in lengths. Delivery is free throughout the UK including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, and no VAT is added at checkout — the price shown is the total payable. Because the load is flat panels rather than two erected steel boxes, no lifting equipment is needed to take it off the vehicle; if you want it set down at a particular point, agree that in writing before delivery. Cover is 12 months on the units as supplied new. Separately, you have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and 30 days to reject the goods if they are faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
