How It Is Used
The tank sits underneath a jackleg or steel toilet unit and collects waste where there is no foul sewer to connect into — the standard arrangement on greenfield sites, remote compounds and early enabling works before drainage goes in. The 500 gallon capacity sets how often a tanker has to visit; on a busy compound that is worth working out against your headcount before the unit goes live, so emptying can be booked as a routine visit rather than an emergency call-out.
Build And Emptying
- Steel construction with internal framework and supports, clad in 2mm steel
- Primed in black
- 500 gallon capacity
- Two 150mm corner emptying points with covers, so the tanker can pull up on either side
Siting Considerations
Place the tank on level, compacted ground that a tanker can reach without crossing the working area, and keep both emptying points clear of stored materials. Check which of your toilet units the tank is being paired with before ordering — a double unit and a single unit do not have the same requirement.
This tank is the matching item for the 1+1 double mains toilet. For a single unit, use the single mains toilet waste tank instead, and larger crews are usually served by a 6+1 steel toilet cabin. Browse the full welfare cabin range, or request a quote for a complete toilet and washroom set-up.
