Single Turnstile Unit

A single turnstile lane housed in a purpose-built 10ft x 8ft cabin, handling both entry and exit through one controlled point. For a small or medium site with a single access route, that is all the capacity you need — and it replaces the clipboard at the gate with something that records itself.

The compact footprint is what makes it practical. It sits on the site periphery and ties straight into hoarding and fencing, so the perimeter stays continuous rather than having a manned gap in it. No groundworks are required.

It is supplied ready to connect rather than tied to one manufacturer’s platform, so whatever card or biometric system you already run across your other sites can drive this cabin too. That matters if you are standardising access control across a portfolio. Access hardware and software are not included and are integrated at your cost.

Common uses are construction sites, infrastructure projects, factories, sporting events, and airport contractor access during works — anywhere entry needs restricting to people who have completed induction or hold current certification.

Scaling Up or Adding Facilities

On a large site the single unit becomes the bottleneck at shift change. Where two lanes are needed, or where entry and exit should be separated, the double turnstile unit is the version to specify. Many sites also position a 24ft x 10ft jackleg site cabin next to the turnstile so induction and sign-in happen in the same place.

Both units sit within our range of specialized containers. Tell us your peak headcount and access system when you request a quote and we will confirm whether one lane is enough.
