Description
The plain galvanised 3m store is the cheapest entry point into the flat pack range, and the right choice wherever nobody is going to look at it twice — a compound, a farm yard, the space behind a workshop, anywhere out of public view. Most buyers start at this size. It swallows mowers, tools, kit bags or a trade’s working stock without taking up the footprint a full container demands.

Galvanised, with nothing on top
Galvanising is the corrosion protection here, not a layer sitting under a coat of paint. The steel is protected whether or not there is colour over it, which is why this version costs less and does exactly the same job. The only thing you give up is appearance. Somewhere the store will be on show — beside a road, next to a playground, in a customer car park — the extra for the powder-coated version is money well spent. Out of sight, this is the sensible buy.

Where a hand-built store beats a delivered container
At 351 kg flat-packed with the heaviest single component at 120 kg, the whole unit is moved into position by hand and built with hand tools. That is the entire argument for flat pack: rear gardens, school grounds, basements and courtyards where a delivered steel container could never be craned in. The 1.25 m by 1.80 m door opening takes most garden machinery, bikes, stillages and site consumables without turning them sideways.
Delivery and buying
Delivery is free anywhere in the UK, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey included, and the price shown is the total payable because no VAT is added at checkout. The store travels flat-packed, so there is no crane or HIAB to arrange — where you want the pallet placed on arrival, agree it in writing before delivery. Mainland England and Wales usually runs 3 to 7 working days; the islands and Northern Ireland take 2 to 4 weeks. You have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and a separate 30-day right to reject the goods if they are faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
