Site Offices

Site offices are among the most commonly specified conversions we build, for a straightforward reason: the office relocates with the project. Nobody packs boxes, nobody books a removal, and desks, files and network all stay exactly as they were when the unit is set down on the next site. The specification is written for working environments, not showrooms — Cor-Ten steel, an insulated roof, security shutters over the windows, a heavy-duty lock on the personnel door and a lockable internal storeroom.

Why modular matters more than size

The mistake on a phased project is buying for peak headcount on day one and then heating an empty office for eight months. Because these connect to one another and stack, capacity is added by bringing in another unit at the point the project actually needs it, rather than by replacing the building. That also works in reverse at the back end of a job, when units come off site one at a time as the team shrinks instead of the whole facility standing idle until completion.

Where these get used

Construction, civils, mining and agriculture are the steady buyers, but the same specification suits travelling operations just as well — festivals, exhibitions and roadshows needing a secure office that packs up and follows the tour. The lockable storeroom is usually the detail that decides it: radios, keys, tablets and cash need somewhere that is not simply “inside the office”.

Delivery, siting and cover

Delivery is free anywhere in the UK, including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, and the price shown is the total payable with no VAT added at checkout. These are made to order, so allow the specialist lead-time band set out in our shipping policy. Plan a firm, level standing bearing at all four corners — essential if units are to be stacked or coupled, because a twisted base shows up immediately at the joint between two offices. Crane or HIAB offload is agreed in writing before delivery. Fabrication workmanship is covered for 12 months, and separately you have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and a 30-day right to reject the goods if faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

In stock now, if a bespoke build is overkill

Plenty of jobs need one room and nothing clever. The new 20ft open-plan office arrives with a clear interior waiting for desks, while the clean 20ft used office container is the cheaper route and already has its insulation and electrics fitted. Where a crew shifts site every few weeks, the 20ft mobile office cabin tends to win out. Stairs, chairs, desks and filing cabinets are stocked under cabin accessories, and workshop, welfare and storage builds sit beside these in the wider modified container range.
