Being honest about a used office

This is a pre-owned unit and it will show it. Expect scuffing to the paint, marks around the door and hook-up, and interior wear consistent with a container that has been an office on somebody else’s site. What it will not have is a compromised shell: it is graded before being listed, and it is dry, secure and sound. Delivery, siting and cover

Delivery is free across the UK, including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, and the price shown is the total payable — no VAT is added at checkout. The unit needs a firm, level standing bearing at all four corners, and it is worth being particular about that here: a sliding door on a used unit is far less forgiving of a twisted base than a swing door. Check the approach and turning space for a 20ft delivery, and position the unit so the window faces away from site traffic. Crane or HIAB offload is agreed in writing before delivery. As a pre-owned unit it carries three months’ cover as wind and watertight, structurally sound, with the doors operating. Your statutory rights are separate: 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and a 30-day right to reject the goods if faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
