Description
A steel store that does not look like one. The body is fully galvanised and the powder coat over it mimics wood grain, which softens the visual impact considerably — the reason it was developed for gardens, nature reserves, school grounds and sports fields where a plain corrugated box would be refused or resented. Underneath the finish it behaves exactly like the rest of the range: bolted steel panels, a double locking system, and a structure that comes apart again if you move.
Dimensions and weights
- External 2.02 × 2.14 × 2.09 m (6 ft 8 in × 7 ft 0 in × 6 ft 10 in)
- Internal 1.90 × 2.07 × 2.00 m (6 ft 3 in × 6 ft 9 in × 6 ft 7 in)
- Door opening 1.25 × 1.80 m (4 ft 1 in × 5 ft 11 in)
- Weight flat-packed 271 kg (597 lb); heaviest single part 88 kg (194 lb)
- Flat-packed bundle 3.88 × 2.14 m × 300 mm high
The lightest unit in the range to install
At 271 kg flat-packed with no single component over 88 kg, this is the easiest store we sell to get into an awkward position. That figure is worth comparing against the 3m and 4m stores before you choose: the smaller footprint costs you floor area but buys you access that the bigger units cannot match. Every part is moved by hand and assembly needs a socket set — no crane, forklift or specialist tools.
Specification

Note the 1000 kg floor rating is an evenly distributed figure, not a point load. Concentrating that weight on a single wheel or foot is a different question, so spread heavy items across the floor rather than parking them on one spot.
Where a discreet finish matters
Nature reserves, allotments, conservation areas, school grounds and gardens overlooked by neighbours are the places this finish was made for. It is also the version to reach for where a site has an aesthetic condition attached to it, or where a parish council has to agree the appearance of a store before it goes in.
Delivery, cover and returns
Free delivery anywhere in the UK, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey included, and no VAT added at checkout — the price shown is the total payable. The store travels as a flat bundle only 300 mm high, so it can be delivered and then carried to a position the lorry could never reach; where a particular placement is needed, agree it in writing before delivery. Our estimate is 7 to 10 days from cleared payment, and island and Northern Irish deliveries wait on sailings and take longer. You keep 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and, separately, 30 days to reject the goods if faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Linking and related stores
Being modular, it bolts to units like the 3m x 2.1m flat pack storage container, or stretches into a longer run with the 6m x 2.1m end linked bundle when the items are long. Sizes and finishes are all catalogued under flat pack containers, next to the broader storage container range. Torn between a flat pack store and a conventional container? Our buyer’s guide compares the two.
