Description

A 30ft refrigerated container customised for mobile cold storage, adjustable from +25 down to -25 degrees Celsius with advanced machines covering +45 to -40. Thirty feet is the length most buyers overlook and the one that often fits best: 40.4 cubic metres and 15 Euro pallets is half again what a 20ft holds, but the 9.1 metre shell still turns into a yard that would defeat a 40ft artic. For farms, food producers and event operators who consistently outgrow a 20ft box yet never fill a 40ft, it removes the choice between running short and paying for volume that stays empty.

Site checklist before it arrives

• Confirm a 380V / 32A three-phase CEE supply, or arrange a generator comfortably sized above the 6 to 10 kWh draw
• Leave clearance at the machinery end so air can move and an engineer can reach it to service
• Site it on ground that is level and genuinely load bearing, so the T-grating floor drains and the doors shut square
• Remember the 3,900 kg tare when deciding where it goes and whether it may have to move again
• Note the 63 to 78 dB running noise when siting near occupied buildings or a boundary

Delivery and what is covered

Delivery is free across the UK mainland and to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, and the price shown is the total payable with no VAT added at checkout. The 30ft length is an awkward one for haulage — longer than a standard rigid tilt-bed can take comfortably, shorter than the 40ft an artic is set up for — so confirm the approach and the standing position with us before you order rather than after. Crane or HIAB offload, where the position needs it, is agreed in writing before delivery. Supplied wind and watertight, the shell is covered for three months against water ingress and door operation. Alongside that you keep two separate statutory rights: 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and 30 days to reject the goods if they are faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Sizing up or down

Smaller footprints are handled by the 20ft freezer container; at the far end of the range, the 40ft -40 °C freezer container gives you the full length.
