Fastfit Three-Tier Racking — Single Bay

One bay of three-tier shelving that hooks onto the D-rings already fitted in a container ceiling. Nothing is drilled or welded into the container, so the racking comes out as easily as it goes in — the right choice for a container you do not own outright, or one you expect to move on.

Because the brackets hang rather than stand, the floor beneath the bottom shelf stays entirely open. Ladders, tyres, long lengths and wheeled equipment go underneath while smaller stock lives on the tiers above, which is a far better use of a narrow container than freestanding shelving that eats the floor.

A single bay is exactly what a 10 ft container takes per side. Both side walls can be racked, but there is not enough length left to fit anything across the end wall — so plan on two kits maximum in a 10 ft unit. In longer containers this kit is a useful way to add capacity one bay at a time instead of committing to a full-length run up front. Timber shelf boards are not supplied — they are bulky enough to dominate the shipping cost, so we leave them to you.

Racking a 10ft Container

A 10ft container takes one bay per side. Both side walls can be racked, but there is not enough length left over to fit racking across the end wall, so plan on two kits maximum for a 10ft unit. In longer containers the same kit is a useful way to build capacity up a bay at a time rather than committing to a full-length run in one order.

Because the brackets hang from the D-rings rather than standing on the floor, the deck below the bottom shelf stays open for long items, tyres, ladders and wheeled equipment.
