Open Filing For A Working Cabin
Three rows of lever arch and box files, all visible and reachable without unlocking anything — that is what an open bookcase does better than a cabinet on a site where several people need the same drawings and registers through the day. Fixed shelves mean the unit stays square when it is loaded heavily or slid across a cabin floor during a move.
Typical Use
- Drawing registers, O&M files and specification folders in daily use
- Reference copies that everyone on the team needs to reach
- Low-level storage that doubles as a surface for a printer or kettle tray
- Splitting a long cabin into a work area and a meeting area
Before You Order
At 300mm deep it sits tight against a cabin wall and, at 727mm high, lines up with desk height so it can run alongside a workstation. Load heavier files on the bottom shelf to keep the unit stable. For records that need to be locked away, use a filing cabinet instead and keep the bookcase for open reference material.
Set it up next to the 1500mm single pedestal desk, or add the lockable 4 drawer metal filing cabinet where documents need securing. It suits office units across our site cabin range, such as the 32ft x 10ft jackleg plastisol office cabin. More fit-out items are listed under cabin accessories.
