Description

Ocean service is over for this one. A standard 20ft ISO box that spent its working life crossing water for a shipping line, sold on as a used storage container to stand still — and nothing else in the range secures a load for less. On a yard, a farm or a fenced compound it holds and locks precisely what a one-trip unit would, for meaningfully less money. Same Corten steel, same door gear, same 28 mm marine ply underfoot. Paint is all you give up.

Honest about the cosmetics

Dents, scraped paintwork, patched touch-ups and the general evidence of years in commercial service: all of it comes with the grade, and our photographs make no attempt to disguise it. The guarantee sits elsewhere. Every shell is supplied structurally sound, the door seals are intact and the floor is fit to be walked on and loaded. Where the box stands in view of customers rather than behind a fence, either move up a grade or add the optional rub-down and respray in a RAL colour of your choosing. Standard size, standard fittings

Because this is a standard 20ft × 8ft ISO shell, any accessory built for the size fits without modification — shelving, racking, ramps, ventilation kits, personnel doors and shutter conversions bolt straight in. A cheap used box can therefore be fitted out over time without fabrication costs, and it holds its resale value against a non-standard unit.

Delivery, base and cover

Delivery is free across the UK including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, and no VAT is added at checkout — the price shown is what you pay. It is offloaded from a tilt-bed lorry, which needs a firm, reasonably level surface and roughly 20 m of clear straight run behind the drop point. Put sleepers or slabs under the corner castings so the box sits true and the doors keep their alignment. Where the site cannot take a tilt-bed, a crane offload can be agreed in writing before delivery; access requirements are in our delivery information. As a wind and watertight container it is covered for three months from delivery against water ingress and door operation. Your statutory rights sit alongside that: 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and a separate 30-day right to reject the goods if they are faulty.
