20ft Used Shipping Container — Wind and Watertight
This is genuine ex-shipping-line stock: a 20ft ISO container retired from ocean service and sold on as a static store. It is the most cost-effective secure storage we offer, and for most yard and site applications it does exactly the same job as a one-trip unit for meaningfully less money.
Be clear about what used means. These containers carry dents, surface scrapes, patch paint and the marks of a working life — we do not photograph them to flatter. What we do guarantee is that the shell is structurally sound and certified wind and watertight, with intact door seals and a serviceable floor. If the container will be seen by customers rather than hidden in a compound, consider a Grade A unit or add a rub-down and respray.
Standard 20ft x 8ft ISO dimensions mean any accessory built for the size — shelving, ramps, racking, ventilation kits — will fit without modification.

Grades, Respray Options and Alternatives
Expect honest cosmetics here: dents and surface scrapes are normal on an ex-shipping line shell, but the structure and seals are guaranteed. If you want tidier paint and a shorter service history, step up to the Grade A standard 20ft container or the hand-picked 20ft used steel container in excellent condition. The optional rub-down and RAL respray is worth considering for customer-facing sites.
