Description
Grade A 20ft Shipping Container
Grade A is the top of our used classification. These containers have normally seen under eight years in service and have been maintained to a high standard throughout, so the paintwork, floor and door gear are noticeably better than average used stock — without the price step up to a one-trip unit.
It is the grade to choose when the container will be visible: a customer car park, a farm gateway, a yard that fronts a road, or any conversion where you would rather not start by grinding back rust. The shell takes paint well and the floor is usually sound enough to fit out directly.
Because these are individually selected rather than pulled from a bulk lot, availability moves week to week. Tell us where the container is going and what it needs to look like, and we will confirm what is on the ground before you commit.

Where Grade A Sits
Grade A is our best used classification: the container has normally seen under eight years of service with the shipping lines and has been maintained to a high standard, so the paint and floor are noticeably better than average used stock without the price of a one trip unit. For a lower-cost alternative, compare it with a standard 20ft wind and watertight used container. If you need the extra internal height, we also grade a used 20ft high cube container to Grade A.
Full definitions of each grade are in the condition guide, and other units are listed under shipping containers.
