40ft High Cube Full Side Access Container — One Trip

This unit opens along its entire 40 ft side as well as at one 8 ft end, and critically the side opening has no central post. That is what separates it from a conventional side-door container: the full 11,836 mm (38 ft 9 in) is clear, so a forklift places pallets anywhere along the length in one pass rather than maneuvering around an obstruction.

Combined with the high cube profile, it is the configuration to specify when loads are both long and tall — panels, machinery, racked stock — and cannot be walked in through a conventional door. The end doors remain available for through-loading when that suits better.

Supplied one trip only, so it has made a single journey from the manufacturer and is effectively new. Construction is Cor-Ten steel on a 28 mm marine plywood floor over steel cross members, CSC plated to 24,000 kg gross. A steel bunded floor can be installed at additional cost if the contents require containment.

Loading, Options and Related Side Access Containers

Removing the central post is what separates this unit from a conventional side-door container: pallets, panels and machinery can be placed anywhere along the 38ft 9″ opening without maneuvering around an obstruction, and the end doors remain available for through-loading.
