This 40ft x 8ft one trip tunnel container has hinged double doors at both ends rather than one, which is what the term “tunnel” refers to. Having doors at each end changes how the container can be used on site: goods can be loaded from one end and drawn out from the other, long items can be passed straight through, and the shell can be partitioned into two independently locked halves for separate teams or tenants.

As a one trip unit, the container has carried cargo on a single ocean voyage only, so the Cor-Ten steel, paint and 28mm marine plywood floor are all close to new condition. It remains CSC plated to a 30 ton gross weight, so it is suitable for shipping as well as static storage.
