40ft Used Flat Rack Container
The 40ft flat rack doubles the deck of the 20ft version to 11.65 m of clear, open platform with no side walls to restrict loading. It is the answer for long loads — structural steel, pipe runs, trusses, plant and vehicles — that cannot be broken down to fit through a container door and cannot be safely overhung on a shorter deck.
Load securing is built in rather than bolted on: lashing rings run through the side rails, the deck and the corner posts, so a long load can be restrained at multiple points along its length. The deck itself is 28 mm marine plywood on a steel frame, and collapsible-end units fold flat to stack when they are not in use.
Because the frame carries ISO corner castings, a used 40ft rack has a long second life beyond freight. Bridge decks, crane mats, working platforms and equipment skids are all common conversions, and the certified lifting points are already engineered in.
