A clean history is a specification, not a sales line
On a used reefer the previous cargo genuinely matters. Food service leaves residue in the T-bar floor channels, odour in the insulation and wear on the door gaskets from constant opening. A unit that only ever held equipment at a steady temperature avoids all three, which is why this one starts clean for food-grade work, subject to your own sanitation and validation process. It also means the machine has spent its life on a stable, undemanding duty cycle rather than repeatedly pulling down warm loads.

Delivery and cover
Delivery is free across the UK mainland and to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, and the price shown is the total payable, with no VAT added at checkout. A 20ft is a straightforward tilt-bed delivery: allow roughly twice the container’s length as a clear approach, and level load-bearing ground at the standing position. Given the condition of this particular unit, it is worth taking a little care over the final position and the ground beneath it rather than accepting the first workable spot. Where the site calls for a crane or HIAB offload, that is agreed in writing before delivery, and a working reefer needs its three-phase supply in place before it can be run up. Supplied wind and watertight, the shell carries three months’ cover on that basis against water ingress and door operation. Separately you keep 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and 30 days to reject the goods if they are faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
