This unit carries all the features of our standard 20ft dangerous goods container, with a few additional modifications. The 20ft open air storage unit is intended for gas cylinder storage, or any other material that requires complete ventilation: the side walls have been removed and replaced with non-spark mesh panels for maximum air flow.

A custom personnel door is installed for everyday access, and the bunded floor with drainage outlet means spills are contained and the unit can be washed down and maintained easily. Why ventilation and non-spark fittings matter

Compressed gas cylinders are usually stored outdoors precisely because any leak needs to disperse rather than accumulate. Mesh side walls give that dispersal while still keeping cylinders secured, sheltered from direct weather and out of reach. Non-spark fittings on the flooring and personnel door remove a common ignition source in an environment where a leak is the foreseeable failure.
