Cabins

Site cabins and modular buildings differ from container conversions in how they are built. Rather than starting from a freight box, a jackleg cabin is manufactured as a welfare and office unit from the outset: insulated wall panels, factory-fitted windows, wired electrics, and adjustable jackleg supports that let the unit sit level on uneven ground without a poured pad. BluePort Container supplies single cabins and multi-bay modular buildings that link together into larger floor plates.
Cabin types in this category

Jackleg office cabins in 16ft, 20ft, 24ft, 32ft, 40ft and 48ft lengths, typically 9ft or 10ft wide
Multi-bay modular buildings — 3-bay and 6-bay units that combine into open-plan or partitioned space
Anti-vandal specification — steel shutters, reinforced doors and plastisol cladding for exposed sites
Welfare units — drying rooms, meeting rooms, toilet blocks and ablution facilities
Refurbished units — previously deployed cabins reconditioned and re-fitted

Length drives the head count a cabin realistically supports. A 16ft x 10ft jackleg site office suits a supervisor and a desk or two; a 40ft x 10ft jackleg office cabin gives a full site team room to work. Where a project needs a room dedicated to a function, look at the 32ft ECOlink meeting room cabin or step up to a linked 3-bay anti-vandal modular building.
Cabins are craned into position rather than rolled off, so access and hardstanding matter. Confirm your site details with us through the quote request and we will advise on the lift.
Cabins arrive as a shell; see cabin accessories for the fit-out, and Delivery Information for siting and access.
