A site cabin is not a converted freight box. It leaves the factory already a building: insulated wall and roof panels, factory-glazed windows, a wired consumer unit with sockets and lighting, a finished floor, and jackleg supports at each corner that wind down until the unit sits level on ground nobody has poured a slab on. That last detail is the practical one, and it is why site cabins for sale outsell built accommodation on projects measured in months.

Offices scale with length

A 16ft × 10ft jackleg cabin (4.9 m × 3 m) suits a supervisor, a desk and somewhere to spread a drawing. The range steps through 20ft, 24ft, 30ft, 32ft and 40ft to a 48ft × 10ft office (14.6 m × 3 m) with room for a full site team. When one unit stops being enough, 3-bay and 6-bay modular buildings link into an open-plan or partitioned floor plate, refurbished as well as new.

Welfare is a separate calculation

Sanitary units are specified by cubicle count: 1+1 double mains, 4+1 in a 20ft × 9ft steel cabin, 5+1 in a 24ft and a 6+1 for larger crews, with waste-tank versions where there is no drainage. The category also covers drying rooms, meeting rooms, ablution blocks and turnstile units. Sites left unattended overnight take the anti-vandal specification — steel shutters over the glazing, reinforced doors, plastisol cladding — as on the 3-bay anti-vandal modular building.

Where a crane cannot reach the standing area, flat-packed offices and stores from 4 m × 2.1 m up to 6.5 m × 4.6 m side-linked layouts arrive folded and are built out in position. Fit-out items sit separately under cabin accessories.

Cabins are lifted into place rather than rolled off, so hardstanding, overhead clearance and the lorry approach decide the method; any crane or HIAB offload is agreed in writing before delivery, and delivery information lists what we need to know about access. Delivery is free UK-wide including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, 7–10 days a reasonable estimate and made-to-order specifications 2–6 weeks.
